Abstract:
Cuba has undergone an important productive transformation in the last 25 years. However, significant challenges remain. The current process of economic reforms offers an opportunity to address these concerns in the wider context of a new developmental model. In this framework, industrial policy should be placed at the centre of an economic strategy aimed at accelerating economic growth, promoting social inclusion and integrating Cuba into the global economy.
