The Tshwane University of Technology is offering a Post-doctoral Fellowship linked to the UNESCO Chair in African Integration and Innovation. The successful applicant for this position will be expected to engage in research on systems of innovation in Africa from a critical political economy perspective, publish in peer-reviewed journals/books/conference proceedings, contribute to public engagements, and assist in the supervision of postgraduate students. The broad research focus areas for this fellowship are: (a) systems of innovation in Africa from a broad (political economy) perspective; (b) the nature and role of STI policy in national and regional planning for sustainable economic development; and (c) the integration of systems of innovation in the SADC region.
